LAMDA at Waldegrave School

LAMDA is a world-renowned drama school, helping learners worldwide become confident speakers since the 1880s. As the leader in graded examinations, LAMDA sets the standard for speech, communication, and drama globally.

LAMDA is great fun for pupils who enjoy the arts, adding depth to their interests while honing their talents. However, the lessons aren’t just for budding performers; they are also an enjoyable way for many students to build confidence. At the core of LAMDA examinations is the belief that these qualifications are for everyone.

At Elizabeth Samuels, we believe LAMDA coaching is invaluable. It helps students develop key skills that they will carry into higher education and beyond.

In January 2025, students can start preparing for a LAMDA exam. All examinations are optional and can be discussed with our LAMDA teachers.

Spring 2025 Term Dates (10 lessons)

  • Monday 13th January to Monday 31st March (no class 17/02 & 24/02)

Classes take place at Waldegrave during the school day on Monday’s for Year 10.

  • Group 30 minutes - £215 per term

(Please note a minimum of 2 pupils are required for group classes)

Please note placement of your child is only guaranteed once full payment has been made. We do not offer sibling discounts, credits or refunds for our LAMDA lessons.
